Elections Board submitted a response asking Con Court not to overturn the results of the election.
Rumor is that University Administration will step in if Con Court decides to do such a ridiculous (borderline illegal) thing.

Anyone find out any more info on Matt Rose attempting to overturn the results of the Election because of the "questionable" ad buy?

I remember a certain senator wanting to postpone Tylee's confirmation so we could ask more questions. I guess that would have been unfair to Kendell and the students had we waited an extra week to appoint her. Sorry Nathan.

I'd suggest simply asking Ms. Tylee to speak publicly on the issue. If you've had the pleasure of experiencing her speak, you'll know that at this point she must be on the verge of a mental breakdown. Perhaps a nice electoral symposium is all it'll take for the Business Seat to become a non-issue.

"Okay, so the Business Seat, well actually let me start with voters, see Business Majors, well really any student's ability to use Duckweb, well first off the faculty calls it Banner, but before I go into that... fairness should be in the hands of the voters--Business Majors ..." I can't wait!

Kendell Tylee's e-mail address is, ktylee@uoregon.edu. I encourage everyone to send her a note about how we don't appreciate the job she has done as a corrupt elections coordinator.

Of course, please be respectful so that your opinion is taken into account.

Why weren't said business majors "able" to vote? Were the all somehow locked out of Duckweb for a week? Did all the students in question have no access to network resources during the election (despite presumably being on campus during that time)? In the future, will any student who might've been "unable to vote" for whatever reason be able to overturn election results?

The Elections Board clearly owes the electorate an explanation as to *exactly* why the results of a student vote are being overturned and what steps will be taken in the future to ensure that this doesn't happen again.

Otherwise someone might be tempted to file a grievance.
