Yeah, the oregon daily emerald covered the whole story, like the wonderful journalists like they are. They have mistaken a couple of seats that they published in their article. The other question that I raised was the one of why they would mention Madame President Hamilton and Senate President Papailiou when they wouldnt mention that Rosenburg was at the scene when elections were decided…. Uh huh..?
Commentator, please give the student body the truth.
Thanks,
Derek Nix

Commentator+Oregon Action Team=Butt buddies. Disappointing, guess journalistic objectivity doesn’t apply to the OC.

Your guess is correct. From the OC masthead:
The Oregon Commentator is a conservative journal of opinion.
The OC and its website contain opinions and many instances of advocacy journalism. The goal is not to be neutral, but instead to have an opinion backed by facts. The accuracy of facts is something you can (and should) question. But the OC isn’t pretending to be the Associated Press of campus.

“But the OC isn’t pretending to be the Associated Press of campus.”
Can’t imagine who that would be.

Something tells me the Insurgent would take it as a compliment to be compared to Al Jazeera, so I’ll go with “Matt Drudge sans the whimsy or work ethic.”
