First of all, CJ, you are an old polecat. Secondly, I am as tired as the next person of politicians putting out propaganda that he or she knows how to “solve” the meth problem. How can a person pretend to know the solution to an unpredictable drug who has (hopefully) never understood how it works? Isn’t it about time that someone comes out and says:

“Holy shit, what happened? People have been using this drug for decades, but all of a sudden, it has been perverted and turned into a disgraceful way of life. Being the good white collar American that I pretend to be, I have absolutely no clue what to do because I am too out of touch with society, and those using meth are too much like the ants I battle on a daily basis. I just don’t know what to do. But damnit, we should try to figure it out.”

?

Like most Americans, I am annoyed by the myriad false promises that are slug at us each election. So when a candidate says, I will be “both smart and tough on crime”, it makes me want to spend my college funds on dope and shoot up for all I got.

I can only hope for a better time when the government lets the people figure out what is best for the people. But I guess I’m just a [drunk] dreamer.
