The guy who tackled me made the unfortunate mistake of landing behind me (read: away from the rest of his team, in the midst of my team). I had an amazing, ground-level view of one of my teammate's studded cleats stomping into his gut over and over. I could also see the ref standind about five feet away, shaking his head and saying to the poor fellow, "Better get out the way." Speaking of which, the UO men's rugby team is gearing up for next season. New players are welcome. No experience needed. Guaranteed playing time on a division 1 team.
