I haven’t read any of her books. Her public comments are far more than enough to convince me to never give her a penny of my money or waste my time reading her books. They might very well be funny books, but I don’t really have much time for people who think that calling Presidential candidates “faggots” and Muslims “rag heads”.

Maybe she didn’t really “mean it.” Maybe she was just trying to be “controversial” and to provoke a reaction. Whatever. It makes her look like an idiot either way.

Please, somebody tell me. Which of her books have you read that has upset you so much. Is it me? I think she is a funny writer. And tell me, who is out there now dealing in intelligent discussion? If anyone makes a point, the response is either an ad hominum, tu quoque or at best ad vericundium

Isn’t it pretty obvious that she is a sensationalist that will say anything to revive her pathetic career because she is an attention whore? Does Fox News ask her to come on their shows because of her political commentary, or do they do it because they know the crazier the commentator, the higher the ratings?

Coulter is nothing but the right’s version of Michael Moore. She’s angry, polarizing, and has no interest in intelligent discussion/dialogue. She’s there to whip up the faithful with cheap shots, overly-broad, bilious stereotypes, and brainless humor.

She’s the epitome of “us-vs.-them” politics.

That she’s a woman is pretty irrelevant. The same crap coming out of a man would still be crap.

Blaser, please. What is it that you have read that torques you off? She is a snide, sarcastic beeyatch. Is that like a bad thing??
Maybe it’s because I’m really old and there’s a lot of things I don’t know any more. I mean there was a time when I really knew everything! I was probably in my late teens. Now, all I have are questions. Perhaps Ann Coulter really gets a kick out of being outrageous? I don’t know. There are people who really love her though. In fact Henry Rollins even wrote her a love letter on Youtube.

I feel sorry for people like Jim who actually see Ann Coulter as a strong and assertive woman. Isn’t it pretty obvious that she is a sensationalist that will say anything to revive her pathetic career because she is an attention whore? Timothy & Vincent: Specifically, what is it that you have read by her that supports your positions. I thought “How to talk to a liberal-If you must” was hillarious. Again, specifically, what is it that sets you both off? Remember, she is a columnist-that’s all. I might suggest that an”Attention-craving harpy who will say just about anything to sell books…” seems to me more like Hillary. And speaking of Hillary, or Nancy Pelosi, whose ideas are “…flat crazy”? Sorry guys, I just don’t see your point. Unless of course you follow the logic of Henry Rollins? ;-)

Nothing. Unfortunately, that doesn’t describe Ann Coulter.

“Attention-craving harpy who will say just about anything to sell books and does a lot of damage to the conservative movement,” is much more descriptive of Ann Coulter.

I don’t think a whole country full of Ann Coulters would necessarily be a bad idea. What is wrong about a strong, assertive woman who calls it as she sees it. I think a lot of the criticism of Ms. Coulter comes from: a) People who have never read her, and (b) Those who have issues with their own sexuality. She strikes me as being the king of woman who would not hesitate to call me an a**hole if,and no doubt when, I deserved it. But, you know what? I’d still hold the door open for her, and act like a gentleman. A role that too many men neglect.
