Hack Attack ‘06
I’ve heard people are into the whole “new issues are good” thing. Well, I call that rubbish. Check out Vol 19, Issue 9, for instance… that’s pretty damn solid.
But for those of you who do enjoy new issues, well, here ya go:

Wait, is that…is that color? I AM AWED!
Also: When is HATE?
Special to Meghann (I’d have emailed, but I figured the ODE one would bounce):
Thought your piece was spot-on.

this issue was ok… pretty funny in some parts. I liked the part about tyler working at mcdonalds. it makes me miss working with him at lc.

Is it too late to change typos? Er, un-typos I guess these are…
I spotted a ‘to’ that needs another ‘o’ and a ‘the’ that needs a ‘y’.

Hate is coming out ASAP, for whatever that’s worth.
If you’ve spotted some typos, send me an email. We’re sending it to the printers tomorrow morning.

While you’re at it, check “pore” for “pour”, and the phrase “T-Graf’s a bit a mopey”.
(And thanks for the shout-out, Meghann.)
Any typos in the other pieces are clearly intended as mockery of those other publications’ copy-editing practices. The issue looks absolutely superb, folks.

Olly’s right, the issue is a serious beauty. Best looking issue you’ve put out, Ian. Kudos.

I seem to remember us catching the to-too mistake. I’m sure we’ll fix that for the print version.
Personally, I like the phrase “T-Graf’s a bit a mopey”; it has a certain poetic quality to it.
I still love that cover!

So does that make Tyler the 8th dwarf, Mopey?
May 12th, 2006 at 12:37 pm
No it does not.
May 12th, 2006 at 1:31 pm
Aw, come on. It would be a badge of honor for him! He’d stand out from the rest of the dwarves…

Windbag huh?
May 13th, 2006 at 11:40 pm
Would you rather it be Candidate Kegger Dallas? ;-) Windbag isn’t too bad
May 15th, 2006 at 12:02 pm
Think of it as a subtle nod to your support of wind-powered energy, Dallas.
May 15th, 2006 at 1:32 pm
Dallas, be like me. Anyone insults me, don’t take it personally…or, in your case, use it for a later campaign. ^_-

I’m just happy someone actually attempted the crossword puzzle.
