Comment Spam
I have deleted over 300 pieces of comment spam this evening. Other OC web-site folks, please remember to stay on top of this.
In other news: I shall be in Eugene from late tomorrow evening through mid-day June 19. If you are one of the people with which I should have beer, please email me at nothf -at- yahoo -dot- com if you don’t have my cell number. If you already have my number, or I have yours, this step is unneeded.

I have been the comment spam go-to guy since Sho threw in the towel, but as you can see, that all goes to shit whenever I’m away from the internet–spend three days helping my mom move and look what happens.
Well, some other sucker needs to step up in a hurry, because believe it or not, OC comment spam will be even lower on my To Do list than “shampoo ass hair” while I’m a-studyin’ in foggy London Town for the next five weeks.

Upgrade to MT 3.1x, install new MT-Blacklist plugin, then install SpamLookup plugin. That should do it.

I recall emailing someone about MT 3.1x a month or so ago and never got an answer.

It will instantly make your comment-spam go to zero. (Just make sure to install the code on ALL of the pages where you can “submit” a comment — including the preview template.)
