Yeah, I read about Crichton's new book in my favorite publication, Parade, which published a short article by Crichton in which he lambasted the scare tactics of special interest groups (primarily environmentalist groups). For those of you who don't know, this indie publication about which I write, Parade, is a little like McClure's circa 1913. Nothing but muckraking reporting. In fact, Lee Kravitz makes Ida Tarbell seem like an Alzheimer's-stricken journalistic hack.

Over at Reason they have a link to a very good review of Crichton's latest. I'm far too lazy to link to it directly, however, so you're on your own, suckers.

I think it's a sequel to Disclosure, but with Ashton Kutcher subbing for Michael Douglas.

And Michael Moore as "El Nino."

Michael Crichton's new book is about a scientist who discovers that global warming is b.s. and is consequently hunted down by enraged and armed environmentalists. And maybe some dinosaurs or mutated monkeys or something like that.
