		<description>I know it's been done by better bloggers. (I got the story, as did everyone else in the world, from Powerline, hence my link to them in the main post.) Just trying to keep up on current events. 

My point is, there are so, so many potential conspiracy theories here. Was the target the Bush campaign? The Kerry campaign? CBS? Dan Rather specifically? Was the forgery (it looks reasonable to assume now that "forgery" is the word) an in-house promotional bid by a researcher that simply got out of hand? (I've seen that one speculated upon.)
