Still Crazy After All These Days…

King Ralph, apparently, doesn’t like that MLB is a business. What a maroon.

MLB is indeed a business, and they can certainly put ads on the uniforms if they so choose. But it still sucks big time, for fans and for players.

So there may be a few complaints like Nader’s, but in 10 years I foresee that baseball players’ uniforms will look like those of race car drivers.

Good thing I don’t watch baseball.

    Or car races.

  2. Timothy Says:

You ever watch NCAA Bowl Games? Same deal, is NCAA football like NASCAR with uniform ads, I think not. I’m a huge baseball fan and I really don’t see the problem with it, further, Selig has already said he’s got no real plans to extend the program.

  3. Sho Says:

Ads on uniforms have been common for as long as I can remember in soccer leagues around the world. I think it’s because TV commercials are only shown at halftime during the game.

I don’t have a problem with it. I think it even adds a bit of personality to certain uniforms.

  4. Chris Says:

Some of the coolest jerseys in soccer and in NASCAR are the ones with enormous beer logos on them. I say bring on the ads. Now all I need to do is paint my car like Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s.
